PlankDesigns Terms of Service

Welcome to PlankDesigns. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our design services and website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging our services or accessing our website, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not use our services.

2. Service Overview

PlankDesigns provides professional design services including but not limited to:

  • Brand identity design
  • Digital and print design
  • UI/UX design services
  • Design consulting

3. Client Responsibilities

A. Project Briefing

Clients must provide complete, accurate project requirements and timely feedback.

B. Content Ownership

Clients warrant they own or have rights to all materials provided for projects.

C. Revisions

Standard packages include 3 revision rounds. Additional revisions may incur fees.

4. Payments & Pricing

A. Payment Terms

Projects require a 50% deposit before commencement, with balance due upon completion.

B. Accepted Methods

We accept payments via:

  • Lemon Squeezy (international)
  • Stripe (credit cards)
  • Paystack (African clients)
  • Bank transfer (South Africa)

C. Taxes

All prices exclude VAT where applicable. International clients may be subject to local taxes.

5. Intellectual Property

A. Ownership Transfer

Final design assets and full rights transfer upon final payment.

B. Portfolio Rights

PlankDesigns retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

A. Client Cancellation

Cancellations after work begins forfeit the deposit. Partial work completed may be delivered at our discretion.

B. Refund Policy

Refunds only issued if we cannot deliver agreed services. No refunds for change of mind.

7. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and project details under NDA where requested.

8. Website Use

A. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer or exploit vulnerabilities
  • Use automated scraping tools
  • Upload malicious content

9. Limitation of Liability

PlankDesignsc' total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by South African law. Disputes shall be resolved in Cape Town courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
